An independent solar decision and vendor-assistance platform built for Northeast India.
What we do
Going solar in India involves four hard decisions in a row: pick the right system size, find a vendor who isn’t cutting corners, time the loan against your bill, and navigate the PM Surya Ghar / DISCOM paperwork. Most homeowners face those decisions once in their life. Most vendors face them every day.
SuryaSelect closes that asymmetry. We give the homeowner the same tools an experienced installer would use — a sizing calculator, a quote-audit checklist, an EMI-vs-bill comparison, a satellite roof analyzer, a society feasibility tool — so the buying decision is on equal footing with the selling decision.
What we don’t do
We are not the government. We are not an installer. We are not a financial advisor.
- The official PM Surya Ghar application, approval, subsidy, and disbursement process is handled only through the Government of India / DISCOM portal at pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
- We don’t install panels. Verified vendors on our platform do — under their own contracts, warranties, and licences.
- We don’t lend money. We surface indicative loan-EMI maths so you can compare apples to apples; the actual loan is between you and your bank.

Free tools, free vendor matching, free quote audits — at no cost to you. Your contact information stays masked from vendors until you choose to share it.
Housing societies & RWAs
A common-area feasibility tool that produces committee-ready proposals with payback maths and per-flat benefit. We match you with vendors who have done society-scale work in Northeast India before.
Vendors & installers
Verified vendors get a stream of district-targeted, pre-qualified leads with indicative system sizing already done. AI follow-up reminders, monthly performance reports, and a launchpad to the official PM Surya Ghar vendor portal.
DISCOMs & policy researchers
We publish anonymised demand patterns by district to help everyone in the ecosystem plan better. Reach out at research@suryaselect.in.
Where we are
We started in Assam — Nalbari, Kamrup Metropolitan, Baksa and Morigaon first — and are expanding across the eight Northeast states. Our subsidy maths uses the Northeast +10%/kW top-up; our generation estimates use Northeast irradiation data; our vendor pool is local.
